Our Story

Born from frustration

We Create QR started with a simple problem: every free QR generator we tried either buried the download button behind a paywall, slapped a watermark on the output, or demanded an email address just to access basic functionality.

We knew it didn't have to be this way. QR code generation is fundamentally a client-side task — your browser can do all the work without ever touching a server. So we built a tool that does exactly that: fast, private, and genuinely free.

We support two QR types — URL and WiFi — because these cover the overwhelming majority of real-world use cases. Cafés printing WiFi signs. Small businesses adding QR codes to business cards. Event organizers linking to registration pages. Teachers sharing resources with students. That's who we built this for.
