Why won't my QR code scan?
The most common causes are low contrast (dark foreground on dark
background), too small a print size (minimum 2×2 cm), or a
scanning device that doesn't support that QR standard. Try
regenerating with the default dark-on-white colors and increase
the error correction level to H for better
durability.
Is the QR code generator really free?
Yes — completely free. We support the tool through Google AdSense
advertising. There are no hidden charges, no watermarks on
downloads, and no scan limits. The core generator will always be
free.
Do you store the URLs or WiFi passwords I enter?
No. All QR generation happens entirely in your browser using
JavaScript. Your URLs and WiFi credentials are never sent to our
servers. Your last 5 QR codes are stored only in your browser's
localStorage, and we have no access to that data. See our

Can I use the QR codes for commercial purposes?
Yes. You own the QR codes you generate. You can use them on
product packaging, marketing materials, business cards, menus, or
any commercial application without attribution or additional fees.

How do I report a QR code being used for spam or
phishing?
Select "Report Abuse" above and fill out the
form. Include the URL or content the QR code links to and a
description of the harmful behavior. We investigate all reports
within 24 hours.
Do my QR codes expire?
Never. We Create QR generates static QR codes — they work forever
with unlimited scans. There are no expiry dates, monthly caps, or
account-based restrictions.
